About us

Hello my name is Mark and I have dedicated most of my life to working within the caravan & motorhome industry. Coming from an electrical & mechanical engineering background I first entered the industry working as a technician for a local motorhome main dealership. It was a eureka moment as it felt as though I had found my perfect vocation in life. The multi disciplined skills base required in this role suited me perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed it. After further building on my skills, qualifications and experience within the industry I realised my ambition to form my own company and provide a mobile motorhome & caravan engineer service. This back in the early 1990s was a very new concept which meant no near competitors and often covering a large geographic area in order to attend to the level of demand this new growth industry presented. This experience enabled me to perfectly hone my skills, knowledge, and expertise on all makes and model of leisure accommodation vehicle. The mobile business also provided me with a platform and further opportunity with which to start my own workshop based repair centre. This in turn provided me with the ability to offer my customers additional services such as insurance body repairs and extensive interior refurbishment. The business became successful winning an award whilst also continuing to grow employing additional staff. Since selling the workshop business in 2014 and looking for a fresh challenge I have worked in the manufacturing side of the leisure industry building award winning van conversions and more recently bespoke luxury mobile glamping units. Leisure Van Services certainly feels a little like going full circle in the industry whilst also in a sense winding the clock back. I feel that with this background we are able to offer a well rounded unique service built on a wealth of knowledge, time served skills and diverse experience.
